LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) - It is back to school time and kids are getting started on the right track thanks to a Louisville church.
Building healthier communities was the theme of this year's Saint George's Community Center Health and Fun fair. The event on 26th Street offered free heath screenings and free backpacks full of school supplies.
In these tough economic times, many parents can not afford to go to the doctor and get the proper things they need.
This is the 19th year for the event and more than 25 local agencies participated.
