Record crowd fights against colon cancer
LOUISVILLE, KY (WAVE) – A record crowd turned out Saturday for the fight against colon cancer.
The Walk Away From Colon Cancer 5k run started at the Iroquois Amphitheater at Iroquois Park.
It is the largest annual fundraiser for the Colon Cancer Prevention Project. The Louisville based non-profit organization is on a mission to end preventable colon cancer death and suffering.
This was the seventh year for the event.
